New "Zero-Ischemia" Partial Nephrectomy Technique PublishedIn European Urology, we reported on a novel "zero-ischemia" partial nephrectomyPartial Nephrectomyremoval of diseased part of the kidney while sparing the healthy part technique using laparoscopic and robotic surgery. This novel technique, pioneered and developed by our team, completely eliminates renal ischemia during laparoscopic and robotic partial nephrectomy, therefore giving patients a greater chance of superior kidney function after surgery.

USC Urologists Visit China to Lay Groundwork for USC-China Program: Over 1,800 Urologists Attend "Live Surgery" Symposia.The USC Institute of Urology team has just returned from a 12-day, 5-city visit to Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Singapore to lay the groundwork for a collaborative program with physicians in China.
