Residency Program

The training program in urology at the Keck School of Medicine is a six-year continuum consisting of a one-year general surgery internship, four years of urology and a year of dedicated research. The surgery core will prepare the prospective urologist with a broad background in surgical technique and pre-and post-operative patient management. The program will provide the resident with a base of urologic experience covering all major aspects of urology with graduated responsibility for patient care.
